Writer Joe Kelly takes a new approach on Supergirl and brings us the second part of the Candor story. Our girl blue must battle things in her mind as well as her super powered cousin Kal-El, this issue is about freeing the planet of Candor from their evil ruler. Without giving away the plot it’s definitely an eye opener to see who the heroes and villains in this issue are.

The visuals are amazing; in my opinion the team making the present Supergirl series is one of the best in the business, maybe even the best! Ian Churchill once again amazes us with his fluid and detailed style of drawing. The colors by Rod Reis are beautiful and really flare up each panel, sometimes making the reader think they’re watching a movie.

Inks are amazing as well and as far as I can see the pencils/inks team of Churchill/Rapmund made the colorist’s job a lot easier to say the least.

Art 9/10

Story 8.5

Overall 9/10 definitely one you should pick up!  It's only a few dollars and beautiful to have around the house.
