SUPERGIRL: POWER

This comic book starts off great with a rescue scene involving Supergirl and Superman. Superman acts as his cousin's mentor throughout this collection of issues.(See issue #'s above) Supergirl runs through most of the DC universes mainstay characters and has bouts with various ones. Without trying to spoil too much, Supergirl faces off with the evil side of herself which was unleashed by black kryptonite. Fans of Superman will know the details of it's effects. This book seems to lean a little toward fans of the DC Universe, but having not read any recent issues from other DC characters I had no problem getting into this book, and you shouldn't either!

The artwork is simply gorgeous and inspiring, the colors are very vibrant, the nice people that colored this book

are recognizable names in the comic coloring industry. Need I mention Ian Churchill's pencil work, it's simply

astonishing. Also the story flows very nicely, and the panels transition smoothly complimenting the story.

As an added bonus all of the covers are printed in between where each issue ends within this book(6 issues total),

one cover drawn by Ian Churchill and one cover by Michael Turner of Aspen MLT (creator of Fathom). Myself being a

fan of both artists work am very pleased.

Another thing Superman/Supergirl fans might enjoy is the kryptonian alphabet table at the end of this book.

If you want to see the popular heroes of the DC universe in some fantastic battle scenes with Supergirl then this

book is for you. Even if you are just a fan of great art then check this book out. It's well worth the buy.

Art 10/10 I really love the style.
Sotry 8/10 Fitting storyline.

Overall 9/10  Worth the price, pick this one up! Hey my wife even read it!
