I've been waiting for this arc for ages and now it's here I'm so happy that it lives up to my anticipation. Claremount has created an interesting pull into this arc. It seems like a simple concept but you know there's more to it. The story itself is a fusion of smoothness, subtleness, history and energy. Storm narrates a lot of the issue and the transition from that to normal speech is perfect. When she is with Yukio you get a sense of history, but it doesn't hinder the story at all. As the intro to the arc, this was nothing less than fantastic!

I really think people need to stop doubting Kordy now. His work in this issue was really good. The panel layout worked real well and helped the story flow and the art within was great to see. There is one full page shot of Storm rising through the clouds that is WOW! When Storm & Yukio are inside the Arena the variety and lavishness of the places is captured so well. And the whole fight scenes are just more examples of Kordy's great work!
