X-treme X-men #30

Most X-Fans know of Claremont's classic story
God Loves, Man Kills. Hey, they based X-Men 2 on it. Well, as a kind of homage Claremont decided to write a sequel within his X-treme X-Men book.
The problem with sequels is trying to better what came before. With this issue Claremont shows use exactly where he was going. The problem is, the message is a powerful one and it is clear what Claremont's vision is, but getting to this point hasn't been the most focused of journeys and the final conclusion seemed too rushed to be feasible. Make up your own minds though. See what happens to Kitty, find out who Paul is and more inside!
Kordy's s pencilling is very up an down in this series. He can have some real nice work in there or other times you get out of proportioned, contorted work. The latter has been more of a problem this issue and another problem is his facial expressions don't seem to match up with said emotion. Don't get me wrong he's stuff isn't REALLY bad, it's just weird how it fluctuates. The colouring as usual was nice and another nice cover from Larroca!
Report Card - C- (Not as good as the original, but may read better when collected together)
