Ultimate X-Men #41
By Kevin Scott

When this arc started Bendis promised that we would meet at least one new mutant each issue. So who could be next, what spectacular powers will they posses? How will they interact with the X-Men? Everyone is wondering these questions, the thing is, are these the right questions.
This issue was like an ice cream sundae, it had so many levels of goodness to it. If you just take a quick look you'll only see the cream, but if you go deeper you find a whole lot more. Bendis shows us something very important here and that is, just because you have great power, it doesn't mean things are always under your control. The dream doesn't always go to plan. This is a quick issue to read, but it really makes you think. Good job Bendis!
I really do like Finche's work, but sometimes I feel a lot of his characters look the same and are a little too much all American, with an ironed out face. If you know what I mean Saying this, I thought everything else was really good. From backgrounds, landscapes, but I especially liked the shadowing effects in the cave.
