Cover Artist(s): Luke Ross

A special IDENTITY CRISIS tie-in which finally reveals the sad fate of the original Firestorm, Ronnie Raymond. We also see the new Firestorm, Jason Rusch learn more about his powers-- and more about how to abuse these powers. Sex and revenge seem to be Jason's main priorities for now and watching him indulge his baser instincts provides more suspense than a fight with Multiplex. But in a totally unexpected development, the Justice League finally confront Jason and tell him that they knew Ronnie Raymond, that Ronnie Raymond was a friend of theirs and that he is no Ronnie Raymond. It is a nice foreshadowing of more serious conflicts yet to come. Batista and Green manage to inject excitement in this story even without any direct threat to the hero. But after all this character development, it would be nice to finally see the new Firestorm in action against some major-league villains who can really give him a fight. Or maybe we could just see him look up those two strippers he met.
