Wonder Woman, Elongated Man and Vigilante track a time traveller to the old West where they join forces with Jonah Hex and other old-time DC Western stars. This story basically follows the plot of the recent JLU cartoon that also transplanted the modern heroes to the old West. The most interesting aspect of this issue is seeing Vigilante, a modern hero who patterns himself as a cowboy, actually interacting with real gunslingers. But the plot, involving some ancestor of Vigilante, isn't that exciting. The art, while serviceable, doesn't help much either as the bad guys don't look like much of a threat, even when they put on their exo-suits. It is a pity they didn't do more with this premise. One remarkable thing this issue does, it also makes you realize how Greg Saunders has been squandered in the normal DC universe.
