Alfred is rescued. He starts to act as a go between setting up a bit of an impromptu parlay between Batman and R'as all Ghul. It has only just began when it is crashed by Blue Beetle. Meanwhile in Washington as a new president is sworn in Jackson/Aqualad attacks.

There are so many characters in this title, new ones being introduced with each issue. So far Taylor has done a good job of balancing action, politics and intrigue in this universe, but it can get confusing. It is sometimes hard to tell who is aligned with whom.

The art as per usual is brilliant. There are not many splash pages but there is no need as each panel is dynamic and beautiful on there own.
