It’s war on Eternia as Darkseid continues his attack against Starfire and the Masters of the Universe. It’s war on Earth as He-Man and the super hero resistance is fighting Superman’s Suicide Squad. But Superman enters the fight attacking He-Man. What will the outcome.

While this story continues to move quickly and have many twists, this issue does go into the motion and is caught in the dreary middle of a series where not much changes as the story is setting up future events and playing out a few initial happenings from the first two issues. Tim Seeley continues to put some matches which in some cases are unequal. Teela versus Wonder Woman is a short one-sided fight!

Freddy Williams’s work is good but sometimes cluttered. I will say that Darkseid’s minions look great next to the villains usually serving Skeletor. It’s a natural match. I also have to mention the eclectic but beautiful and engaged colouring by Jeremy Colwell. Few could add as much to Williams’ illustrations.
