This is the untold story of what happened before the Dark Avengers went to war with Asgard. Bullseye or Dark Hawkeye, if you prefer, kidnaps the Sentry’s wife and does something to her.  The Sentry is not happy and Bullseye’s life is on the line. Will the Sentry get his revenge?

I like this story, but I’m not liking that Bendis sets up all of these intricate plot elements that relate to the Siege storyline just before the Dark Avengers went to war. He did the same with the Secret Invasion adding all these crucial details while the main mini-series was running. Victoria Hand here reveals that she knows something more sinister and it’s quite interesting. I’m hoping she will stay around as a supporting character in the Marvel Universe as she is different and quite interesting.

I will miss Deodato when the Dark Avengers end in a few months. He’s really a great artist that has evolved over the past year into a strong creator. Beredo added more painterly effects to his clouring this issue and that complemented Deodato’s work quite well.
