Bluefin, the leading North American distributor of toys, collectibles, and hobby merchandise from Japan and Asia, announces its participation Chicago’s premier pop culture and comics convention – Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2).

C2E2 takes place April 6th to April 8th in the South Building at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago. Bluefin will be located in Booth #227.

This year, Bluefin’s presence at the convention will be highlighted by a series of special events celebrating the venerable action property – Mortal Kombat.

Fans are invited to visit the Bluefin booth to meet actor and acclaimed martial arts phenom, Daniel Pesina, who played the original sprite characters of Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Smoke, and Noob Saibot in the world’s most popular videogame franchise, Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II.

A variety of Mortal Kombat collectible action figures by Storm Collectibles will also be available for purchase during C2E2 in Bluefin Booth #227. Special in-booth signings are scheduled where fans can get purchased products signed by Mr. Pesina in addition to photographs being offered at the table.

Catch Mortal Kombat actor and martial arts extraordinaire Daniel Pesina at the Bluefin booth where he will sign purchased Storm Collectibles product/photographs and take pictures with fans. No other entry fee required.

Sunday, April 8th

11:00am – 12:00pm - Mortal Kombat Official Panel (Room S401)

Join Bluefin and Storm Collectibles as they participate in an official C2E2 panel for all things Mortal Kombat. Learn about the history of the game, the latest new collectibles for the property and also catch commentary from special guest, Daniel Pesina and other original actors from the game including Jax, Kano, Sonya Blade, Shang Tsung, Kitana and more! All actors will be signing items after the panel as well.
