Matt Murdock is fighting a court order to grant the custody of his mad wife to her parents. Although a brilliant lawyer, there isn’t much he can do. Meanwhile, all of Daredevil’s allies are still being hunted by the Hand, the evil ninja clan. But what are their plans for Daredevil?

I believe I must have skipped a few issues as I’m not sure what’s the deal with Lady Bullseye. However, it was pretty straightforward action and I enjoyed this issue. I still can’t understand how Daredevil’s life can be so messy and complicated. Why must he always fall for the women he meets? And why must they always pay the ultimate path of meeting him. Part of me would like to have his luck with women. Part of me thinks it might be too much to of a price to pay in hindsight! I just love this series and Brubaker is crafting here, another series of classic Daredevil stories that readers will comment upon for years!

Lark is just right for this series and help establish the crime noir feel. What’s good, is that it doesn’t feel like reading a Batman title. It’s clearly a Daredevil branded style and the lack of Daredevil in costume in these pages is not even an issue for this reviewer. It’s just solid drama rendered visually.

Rating: 9/10
