While STARSCREAM and his band of rogue DECEPTICONS make their way towards Earth, PROWL struggles to hold things together as CYBERTRON teeters on the brink of destruction. All that and the debut of a brand-new Generation One character!

After the last mini and the 0 issue, I was looking forward to see how things would unfold here. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement. The story seemed very disjointed and nothing gelled. There was action a plenty, but you wondered what the point of it was. And to be honest, the dialogue seemed rather languid and tiresome.

For the most part the art was fine. There were some nice effects, like Ratchet transforming or the way the moonlight reflects on the transformers. But then there were times when size proportion just seemed off, or the panel was too dark, which made it difficult to see what was going on. The cover was OK, but didn’t really depict what was going on or who was actually involved in the issue.
