Warner Bros. to finally release Filmation's Shazam on DVD

Today, during the Filmation panel at San Diego Comic Con, it was announced that Shazam!, Filmation's classic live-action/animation hybrid adaptation of the DC property Captain Marvel, would soon be released by Warner Bros. on DVD.

Shazam!'s half-hour episodes originally aired Saturday mornings in 1974-1977 in conjunction with Filmation's The Secrets of Isis.

Shazam! will be released on DVD, September 18, 2012.
