Not all the cities that survived the Big Wet are like the town of Providens. Some are like Newbegin, burgeoning metropolises that combine pieces of past societies with the new status quo. Can Abi and Jakob make it to across the wastelands to this shining light of the dark future? From the writer and artist of Queen & Country: Declassified: Sons & Daughters comes a bold new ongoing series that bends genres and conventions in a way that only comics can!

Off the heel's of an amazing first issue, Wasteland #2 does not disappoint. With the town of Providens destroyed, the one's who survived, make their trek across the wetlands to the town of Newbegin, to start their lives over. The writing for Wasteland thus far has been simply amazing, it's truly the highpoint of this series. So much story is packed within these few pages that normally, it could be an overload...but so well is the writing, that even a story with this many paths, and subplots, is fairly easy to take in.

The art, in black & White, with it's somewhat simplistic designs, continues to compliment the story perfectly, portraying a desolate and lifeless world. Wasteland is great.
