Tensions rise in the travelers' camp as food and water reserves start to dwindle. The crew takes refuge with a caravan, led by a man with past ties to Michael. Meanwhile, in Newbegin, the council plots a coup and Griss stumbles on a terrible secret that could change everything.

One word comes to mind when I think about Wasteland, "Solid". Consistently, from issue to issue, the Story take's shape - sparking just enough interest to keep you excited and wanting more. Wasteland #3 is no different from the first two...providing just enough excitement and intregue, to make you want to come back. More so then anything, the thing that will win you over with this Comic is the writing. Especially the little nuances that make the world of Wasteland different then our own. For example, the use of the word goat instead of dog (sun of a goat), or using the phrase Sun-Damned instead of god. It's little things like this that draw you into the world, providing you with a connection to your own world and showing you that the world in which they live in, has been heavily impacted by very different events.

The Art ( in black and white ) greatly helps covey the desolate world in which the story takes place. Since issue #3, I feel confidant saying that Wasteland will stay consistent from month to month, providing you with just enough thrill's to have you asking for more. Issue #3 is good.
