Coliseum, the action-adventure brand of Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc., will make its U.S. debut of the action-filled battle series, SPIDER RIDERS, on Kids' WB!, the #1 children's broadcast network, on Saturday, June 17 at 10:30am (ET/PT). SPIDER RIDERS is a co-production between Cookie Jar Entertainment and leading Japanese advertising agency Yomiko, together with celebrated Japanese animation studio Bee Train, known for its popular cult series, hack//SIGN. SPIDER RIDERS is one of the fastest-growing action adventures on Teletoon in Canada and Japan's TV Tokyo and is gearing up to gain the same momentum in the U.S. with its inclusion in Kids' WB's! popular lineup.

SPIDER RIDERS comes from Cookie Jar Entertainment's action moniker, Coliseum, and is the single largest production since the company's inception in 2004. Properties adorning the Coliseum logo are designed to excite audiences through action-packed entertainment that keeps them on their toes. One of the few anime television series launching in the U.S. in 2006, SPIDER RIDERS is sure to liven up Saturday mornings as it finalizes Kids WB's! schedule.

Coliseum's SPIDER RIDERS series comes from award winning Japanese Director Koichi Mashimo and is based on the Cookie Jar Entertainment book "Spider Riders - Shards of the Oracle," written by Emmy award winners Tedd Anasti and Patsy Cameron-Anasti and published by Newmarket Press. The series producer is Emmy award winning producer Steve Hodgins. This combination of animation excellence has succeeded in providing audiences of young boys, ages 6-12, with a series that is visually stunning, filled with non-stop thrill rides and epic journeys.

This latest announcement is just another sign of the steady brand growth SPIDER RIDERS is experiencing since making its world debut at MIPTV in April of this year. "We are thrilled that SPIDER RIDERS will make its broadcast home in the U.S. on Kids' WB!, leaders in kid's primetime," states Cookie Jar Entertainment's President and COO, Toper Taylor.

On June 24, Kids' WB! will present another one-hour block of SPIDER RIDERS from 10:30-11:30AM, ET/PT. On Saturday, July 1, during the holiday weekend, Kids' WB! will feature a SPIDER RIDERS two-hour, four-episode mini-marathon from 10:00AM-Noon, ET/PT. On July 8 SPIDER RIDERS will move into its regularly scheduled time period (10:30-11:00AM, ET/PT).

In addition to viewing the groundbreaking television series, fans have the opportunity to become immersed in the SPIDER RIDERS online game at spiderriders.com. SPIDER RIDERS kid audiences can visit spiderriders.com to play its online game and have an enthralling, competitive experience filled with fantasy and adventure. Ultimately the game will become a "Massively Multi-User Online Game" (MMOG), a global online role play offering that will be enjoyed simultaneously by international players, connecting Spider Rider fans around the world.

SPIDER RIDERS will take Kids' WB! audiences of young boys, ages 6-12, through 52 half hour episodes of action, paying homage to Japan's celebrated anime style of sharp angles, swift movements, and cliffhanging storylines. Welcome to the world of Arachna, where we meet Hunter Steele, a young spirited boy who would rather do anything than stay indoors, especially inside the classroom. Hunter's life is soon turned upside down when he falls into the Inner World and the only way out is to become the Arachna-Master; but first, Hunter must become a Spider Rider. Overcoming his fear of spiders, Hunter succeeds in becoming a Spider Rider and evolves into a consummate warrior. SPIDER RIDERS follows Hunter, his ten-foot tall battle spider Shadow, and the rest of the Spider Riders as they seek to defend their land from the evil Invectids. The series promises to deliver Kids' WB! audiences an electrifying and engaging experience, ensuring that they return every Saturday morning for another SPIDER RIDERS battle!
