The sublime, idiosyncratic James Kochalka returns with another issues of his farcical and brutal teen superhero team comic, Super F*ckers.   In issue #277 (#3), alleged Christian Jack Krak usurps team leadership now that the muscle-bound Super Dan is dead (or so his sleazy teammates believe).   Grotessa makes a love move on Vortex, who is obsessed with a bottle that holds a moment of time from his childhood.   Two of the team’s flunkies try a homemade drug, and the issue ends with a bang – literally.

Once upon a time, Eric Wright a.k.a. Eazy-E (or someone from the seminal rap group, N.W.A. or maybe some other narcissistic rapper) said something like “Life ain’t nothin’ but bitches and money.”   This selfish, self-absorbed attitude defines the Super F*ckers.   The truth of the matter is that regardless of age, if immature, vain, and arrogant people got super powers, they’d act like the Super F*ckers.   Imagine a team led by Terrell Owens, Tom Cruise, and Karl Rove with powers.   Scary, ain’t it?   In Kochalka’s hands, it just a triple damn funny comic book.
