What would happen if you crossed a geeky boy (Juston) who liked to build stuff and was pretty damn good at it, with a robot he found in his scrap yard? Well, if that isn’t weird enough, what would happen if when he started fixing it up he discovered it was a Sentinel! The way issue #5 ended with Juston flipping out and then the Sentinelattacking his school, you were left with just a few questions. McKeever now gives us the answers, but this isn’t the shinny, happy ending lots of stories have. There is a distinct message here that everyone should pay attention to in relating to life. The way this ended as well, a nice lead into the next arc maybe!?!
As usual the art really helps reflect the tone of this book. It’s bold, solid and simple, but still it has a presence that exudes more than that. The emotion of this issue is captured really well. And the TV type panels are a nice touch.
