Can't say I am too crazy about this trend of making comic book covers look like movie posters. Still, this issue picks up flawlessly from the VILLAINS UNITED miniseries and special, showing that our team of renegade baddies are still hiring themselves out for various dirty jobs. It also shows that the Secret Society has not forgiven them as various supervillain assassination teams go after the Secret Six later on. The tone of this series is a little too similar to Simone's other book, "BIRDS OF PREY" but at least it keeps the action moving unlike other books where we get talked to death. The art team, with an old-school look, is also well suited for action although some of their facial expressions could use work. By the way, this issue marks the second appearance by the B-list supervillain duo, Double-Dare in one month. Hopefully, we are not going to see another mass slaughter of minor characters that the writer doesn't care about. We saw enough of that in INFINITE CRISIS.
