The ComicBookBin webOS app helps comic book collectors plan  comic book conventions attendance, locate comic book stores in multiple locations, as well as provide access to over 10,000 articles published about comics, toys, movies and books since 2002.

ComicBookBin 1.0 for Palm webOS is an app similar to the Apple iOS version that iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users have been able to use since March 2010. However the features of ComicBookBin 1.0 match the most recent version for iOS. Users can browse and search through more than 10,000 articles published at The Comic Book Bin. To perform a search, all they need to do is to start tipping a keyword while in the newsreader.

They can also find information on the comic book conventions from across the world and add whole conventions or specific scheduled activities to their webOS Calendar app. This allows users going to the San Diego Comic-Con, for example to add specific panels that they want to attend to their personal webOS calendars. The convention listing also lists the registration contacts of comic book conventions like email, phone number and Web site when available.

Users can also find multiple comic book stores in various locations. By default the ComicBookBin app only lists comic book stores in the surrounding area of the user, but it can also search for comic book stores in various cities and countries. That’s quite useful for planning a trip or a convention outing in another city.

ComicBookBin 1.0 for webOS was created from scratch just for webOS and even uses some of the unique and innovative features of the mobile operating system developed by Palm such as multitasking in multiple app cards. The ComicBookBin 1.0 for Palm webOS supports full rotation allowing users to enjoy the app in both landscape and portrait mode.
