Welcome to the First Annual Binnie Awards

Thank you for joining us on our first annual awards show, which we have affectionately called The Binnies (thanks to Phil Schweier for the name!). We have done year-end wrap up things in the past, but this year we attached a name to it and I think it makes the whole thing sound much more official. So here you go. You can access the categories below in the Related Content section with all the red and blue text.
The Binnies are less competitive than other awards in order to allow for lots of opinions (and avoid infighting in the writing staff!) and let people know about all sorts of great comic events and moments which occurred over the past year. Overall, 2010 was a great year for all sorts of popular culture, so let's see what our gifted and opinionated writing staff thought of the year 2010!
