Film
20th Century Fox has announced the release date of Fantastic Four 2, the sequel to the still unmade Fantastic 4 movie (July 14, 2017), a still untitled Wolverine movie (March 3, 2017), and an unannounced Marvel movie (July 13, 2018). More at the Hollywood Reporter.

Andy Serkis has signed on to direct the Warner Bros. live action Jungle Book film, not to be confused with the Disney live action Jungle Book film. More at the Hollywood Reporter.

Television
Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have signed on for two more seasons of the HBO show. With 14 million viewers on average last season, it's hard not to see why. The fourth season is set to start airing on April 6. More at Entertainment Weekly.

Standup comic and lover of all things geeky Patton Oswalt has signed on for an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Oswalt will play Agent Eric Koening. More at Marvel.

The long under production television adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis’ Powers series is finally coming to… Playstation? Powers is the console’s first foray into original programming and will be written by Charlie Huston. More at Deadline.

Nikita star Maggie Q is set to star in an upcoming CBS police drama. The series will focus on a unit in the LAPD dedicated to stalking crimes. More at the AV Club.

A bunch of set and official photos of Gotham have surfaced, including pictures fo Selina Kyle, Detective Bullock, and Benjamin MacKenzie mouthbreathing as James Gordon. More on Twitter and at the Daily Mail and Daily Star.

Another vague but oh-so-stylish teaser trailer of the next season of Mad Men has been released, now with even more characters slowly moving around an airport. Watch it below:





More pictures of “G.I Jeff” an upcoming episode of Community paying homage to those wonderful 80s cartoons, have been released. They look awesome. More at Entertainment Weekly.

NBC announced official renewals of Parks and Recreation, Grimm, and both shows with the word ‘Chicago’ in them. More at the AV Club.

IDW is releasing a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles miniseries called Turtles in Time. Paul Allor and Erik Burnham will write for a rotating crew of artists, but Mouse Guard’s David Peterson will provide the covers. More at IDW.

Harley Quinn will appear at the San Diego Comic Con. Well, DC is releasing a Harley Quin Invades San Diego Comic-Con one-shot in July. More at DC Comics.

Garth Ennis and John McCrea are returning to their series Dicks in June. Based on the conflicts in Northern Ireland, the series featured Ennis’ trademark shock, gross-out humour and thoughtful interest in Ireland’s more recent history. More at Bleeding Cool.

Marvel has released a teaser for an upcoming Spider-Man series that features multiple webby silhouettes of past Spider characters. More at CBR.

Craig Viveiros will direct the upcoming adaptation of Greg Rucka’s Queen & Country. The film will star Ellen Page as British Agent Tara Chace, who is trying to bring down a terrorist on English soil. More at Variety.

Oni Press has announced a prequel to The Sixth Gun as well as the return of Greg Rucka’s Stumptown. More at CBR.
