Marvel Comics:

Well, it seems the Marvel NOW! teasers from last week have now all been confirmed. Here's our checklist:

Invincible Iron Man by Kieron Gillen and Greg Land

Thor: God of Thunder by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic

Indestructible Hulk by Mark Waid and Leinil Yu

Fantastic Four by Matt Fraction and Mark Bagley

FF by Matt Fraction and Mike Allred

Deadpool
by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore

X-Men Legacy
by Si Spurrier and Tan Eng Huat.

The X-Men Legacy news comes with a twist, however. The book will no longer follow a team of X-Men. Rather, it will focus on Legion, Professor X's son.

Matt Fraction's current series The Defenders will be cancelled as of November, according to Marvel, ostensibly to make some room in the writer's schedule for his new Marvel NOW! books.

DC Comics:

DC has announced a new three-part crossover between Superman, Superboy, and Supergirl, called "H'el on Earth." I believe it's being billed as "All the excitement of our failing Superman line with the hilarity of intentional puns." OK, so that's a joke, but in all seriousness this sounds terrible. Whatever happened to that "New 52" DC was talking about last year?

More Comics:

Speaking of Moore comics, artist extraordinaire and co-creator of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead, Tony Moore has filed a second lawsuit against Kirkman. The first lawsuit was filed last February with the LA County Superior Court for royalties Moore believed were still owed to him after the success of AMC's adaptation of The Walking Dead. This second lawsuit seeks to reinstate Moore's copyright interests in the property by declaring him a co-author of the series. The first lawsuit, which is still pending, hinges on the success of this second filing. Tony Moore was the artist on The Walking Dead #1-6 and also illustrated books like Battle Pope and Britt for Kirkman. The nine-page suit can be read here.

IDW unveiled reprinting plans for their newly acquired American Judge Dredd rights. The first of these reprint collections will be attenuated to Brian Bolland's significant contributions to the character. The 248-page hardcover book, Judge Dredd: The Complete Brian Bolland, will be available in November for $49.99.

Film and Television:

MTV, after speaking with a few Hollywood insiders, believes May 1, 2015, to be the release date for Avengers 2. That's almost two years away. So, why are we reporting on this? You got me.

Iconic comic book writer and two-time author, Warren Ellis has a new book, Gun Machine, to be released early in 2013. Fox has already struck up a television deal with the author, planning a series based on Ellis' Gun Machine. I predict a liberal amount of editing and censoring. Deadline has all the details here.

Donald Faison of Scrubs fame has reportedly been in talks to star as the superhero Doctor Gravity in Kick-Ass 2.
