Deathstroke brings together a team of his own super-powered youngsters to take down the Teen Titans. Each of the Titans is taken out by his opposite number in a series of attacks right out of the "Judas Contract." It is a good read even if it isn't too original. Basically, we have the Titans version of the Injustice Society or the Masters of Evil so we know we will see some classic metahuman-on-metahuman action. The inclusion of old favourites like Batgirl and Inertia, forgotten characters like Match and the revamped Joker's Daughter and even some new creations, should make this new team of super-baddies intriguing to old and new readers alike, The art is still a bit rough with some panels almost Liefeld-ish in their construction. But all the Titans-- and their antagonists, get a good build-up, making the readers anticipate the eventual confrontation even more. This gets a pretty-good four-star rating, mainly because it helps set the stage for better things in the coming issues.
