This issue wraps up the Black Manta storyline. And the artists did a great job not only making him look totally awesome and as big and bad as he should, but kept up a high quality of art through the whole issue.

Aqualad is in peril and it looks like Manta is just going to leave him to his fate, but he turns back and saves his son.

Meanwhile Robin, Starfire and Raven are trying to pinpoint Jackson's tracker and this scene is great at reminding readers of the tension within the team largely thanks to what a d!ck Damien is even as leader of the titans.

There follows a pretty dynamic battle between the Teen Titans and Black Manta.

This was some great action but it didn’t overshadow the story of Aqualad officially becoming a Teen Titan. It seems like this was the title Percy was meant to write as he seems to really understand the team and individuals. And as I mentioned the art was spot on.
