About a decade ago, author Neil Gaiman was tasked with plotting a pitch for his Sandman comic book saga that would encompass a film trilogy for Warner Bros. The fabulous Sandman and Scary Godmother artist Jill Thompson was tasked with producing watercolor storyboards for the pitch. The Sandman trilogy waded about in limbo for some time only to be dropped by WB altogether, but Thompson's watercolors for that long, lost pitch are now up for sale at Cadence Comic Art. Check out her beautiful paintings below in the image gallery and visit Cadence to see more.
