John Stewart leads a Green Lantern Corps team to planet Daxam to warn its people about an impending invasion by the Durlans. The Durlans are shapeshifters who seek the power of the Damixites. With this power, the Durlans will be unstoppable and capable of conquering the universe. Can the Green Lantern Corps convince the reclusive Daxamites to join them first or is it too late?

Jensen dug into old DC Comics alien worlds that usually appear in the legion and Super Heroes and made them relevant in the present. I like the apprehension the Green Lanterns have about the Daxamite as they try to help them. This story feels like a space military show. The stakes are universal.
The comic resembles modern science fictions shows like Star Trek, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica. While few of the Green Lanterns have enough room to show their personalities, the few that do are interesting.

Chang’s work under Morita’s inks is a compelling mix. Moritat changes enough of Chang’s work that I didn’t recognize it at first. Yet, the work is crisp. Chang draws good action scenes. I like the sequence where John Stewart was fighting with the Durlan invader. Some of the pages are too packed. For example, the shots of the Corps become a big mass of lines. This comic book is good. Get it.
