We received a rather interesting email from Eidos' public relations department today. It turns out that the company's first downloadable content pack for Tomb Raider: Underworld , entitled Beneath the Ashes , has hit a sudden snag, just one day before its release.

The official word from Eidos doesn't have much information about what that snag is. Instead, the particularly short email simply says “An unexpected technical issue means that Beneath the Ashes will not be available to download on 10 th February as planned. We apologize for this delay and we are doing everything we can to bring you this exciting new content for Tomb Raider: Underworld as soon as possible. We’ll provide you with an update soon, once we can confirm the launch date.”

In the mean time, we'll keep an eye out for any new information as it comes in to us. For now though, just enjoy this developer diary for Beneath the Ashes .
