Straczynski continues to weave an articulate story around the lives of this world's super beings. It's becoming apparent that the stories will not be action-based, but character-driven. An example of this is the intrecate trick showing readers how Nighthawk perceived Hyperion, while the latter was preaching to him. Later, we find out, some of the preaching got to Hyperion's head too!

Frank is getting better. He's starting to differentiate characters better than before. The Blur no longer looks like the standard black guy. His face is becoming unique. Corporal Ledger's face is also more defined than before. This issue showed the breadth of Frank's work. Whether scenes are based in the countryside, cities, space or a labotory, it was detailed and clear.
