If you haven't been following this comic for at least two years, then don't even try figuring this issue out. We have Darkseid, Metron, Bizarro and "Batzarro", a version of the Avengers called the "Maximums", an army of Supergirls from DC history, a gender-switched version of DC starring Batwoman and Superwoman-- with the Joker and Mr. Mxyzptlk behind it all. The writer makes no effort to tell the reader what happened in the previous issues. Sometimes, it is doubtful that even he knows what is going on. This comic has deteriorated into little more than a series of weird events aimed at stimulating all the fanboys. Fortunately the art is quite pleasing and gives the book a facade of coherence. If only the editor had forced Loeb to actually come up with a story.
