RUNAWAYS #17 - "THE GOOD DIE YOUNG"

The team's mole has been revealed, and now blood must be shed. Which kids will still be standing when the smoke finally clears? This is the story that changes everything (seriously!).

After the mole was revealed last issue, everyone's been anticipating how this would play out and what the deal was. Well Vaughan doesn't let us down here. We see how Alex learnt the truth bout The Pride and why he sided with his parents. The results to his actions spiral out and the ramifications definitely catch you off guard. The character interaction is really good and you can definitely believe the situation. Vaughan loves to do it and yet again he hits us with the killer ending!

Alphona has always been good, but last and this issue have pushed him to KICK ARSE! The pencils are so tight, with amazing detail. You really feel the thick emotional storm Vaughan has cooked up. And Alphona handles it in such a way that it doesn't look over the top.
