Who do you send to catch a group of missing, runaway teenage super heroes? Marvel's original teen runaway crime fighters Cloak & Dagger, making their first major appearance in years!
Every month I enjoy this book and I was really intrigued to find out about Cloak & Dagger. Vaughan as usual tells a story that draws you into its very fabric. It’s nice to see the different levels of interaction, especially the way everyone tries to lookout for Molly, as if they were her parents. There were some great lines in the book, like “I’m the only one who made a costume”, and Cloak & Dagger seemed to play off each other well. A good arc opener, with a killer last page.
Now Alphona has been doing great things on this book, so I wondered how Miyazawa would fit in. Now everything seemed to start off fine, Cloak & Dagger looked really good. But then everything got a little strange (bit harsh, different is probably better). A lot of the characters changed, Nico looked more like Goku than anything and Gertrud was too fine. And the fact that the characters weren’t all wafes, was a big plus of the book. Middletons cover though, is really nice.
