Years ago, writer Didier Arpin dreamed of creating comic books and animated series. Meeting artist Patrick Boutin Gagné a technician for an aeronautic company in a Northern Montreal suburb, the two set on to work on a variety of series. At first Gagné worked on vehicle design for a series called Hizashi Project. Gagné has since begun to work full time as a comic book artist.

While Arpin has worked as an assistant animation director, a special effect artist, a game designer and comic book colourist for years, this is Gagné’s first major professional work. Gagné’s work is heavily inspired by European comics. One of his major emphasis is storytelling, the art of drawing images that explain the action visually.

Rash is set in desert land with gigantic creature roaming deserts and killing adventurers courageous enough to step in their territory. Rash is available right now from Narwain Publishing.
