This issue we get back to quest for the fragments from the point of view of the good gals & guy (don't forget the dog). Arywn has 3 pieces so she's virtually at her goal…..isn't she!?! We have another appearance from Pallias & Dodona as well. This isn't a mind blowing issue, but it's solid. I get the impression that the foundation is getting built for something special and after how this ended, who knows what will happen next!?!
Greg Land art is GREAT, but this issue I have to admit it wasn't all gravy. The landscapes and backgrounds are lush, but sometimes things seem to slip down a gear. Facial expressions don't always seem to fit (Pallias is a good example) and we're just left with a realistic looking plank of wood. We then get hit with some great art like the double spread at the end. Even though it's not as sharp as usual, still nice art.
