Well it’s been a while since the Norrin Radd has been seen in this galaxy, but now after all this time he’s come back home.

This isn’t your old Silver Surfer though, this is a new twist, a new view point. We’re given the story as if it was a M. Night Shyamalan film. The BIG question is though……….can it work!?!

This story seems to flow like a psychological thriller. You see glimpses of incidents and then we go back to Denise, our pivot in the story. She is still hunting for Ellie, who was taken by the Silver Surfer (we’ll have to assume this) at the end of issue #1. She is on an emotional rollercoaster and all she wants to do is hold her daughter again. This is the story and it is powerful, but it really does suffer from the long delay between issues.

I thought that Milx work was something and wondered how they would supplant this. Ian Medina however makes you go “Milx who?” Medinas work is really realistic in its conception and this makes it perfect for this story. The colours used are also a perfect match for this story. It looks like pencils and this helps with the grittier real feel.
