This title is finally attracting the crowd it should always have had. However, on her way to adding momentum to this incredible story, writer Gail Simone managed to annoy this reader. She usually researches her topics very well, but not this time. As a native Montrealer, the bad French annoys me. If Oracle and Savant are such smart people, what's the point of having them talk in bad French?

For those who care, here's a corrected version of Savant and Oracle's conversation. "Est-ce que vous vous rappelez du dernier travail que je vous ai donné?" "Oui - - Je m'en rappelle." The good part, because there are great things about this comic, is that Oracle thinks protecting Batman's secret identity is worth more than the life of her best friend. Simone made Creote, Savant's bodyguard smart. That's good.

Benes' work is improving. He's adding lots of subtle humourous touches. Because of him, I love the Huntress' new costume! As for his Black Canary, she's like a slimmer Pamela Anderson! Many fans complained about the way Benes portrays' women's curves and angles. I like them. The shot when Savant finds out Oracle's pretty is priceless. He's like a horny 13 years old. I guess he can draw guys too!
