The men of Gotham are falling victim to a mysterious virus. Batgirl and the Birds of Prey are investigating, and in the course of trying to deal with the issue they recruit some questionable help in the form of Harley, and Catwoman. It's a small thing but I like Selena's disinterest in helping until she finds out Bruce was affected. Just a little character nod that she does have genuine feelings for Batman. The Birds uneasy alliance with Harley and Catwoman leads to a short confrontation on the rooftops with Batwoman and Spoiler et al.

The story is actually interesting and as an opening chapter of a story arc it captured my imagination enough that I am genuinely curious about what comes next.

The art team s consistently decent. Not the most beautiful comic book art ever but it is charming in its own way.
