That Logo!

I've been showing the Comic Book Bin logo to a lot of people and explaining it to them. You see, I own tons of Comic Book Bin gear. That's what I practically wear all the time. People that may or may not be into comics just love the logo. The one comment about it that comes up frequently about it is how clever it is.

You see, when I was thinking of changing our old graffiti logo, I wanted something that did not scream comic books, while still being comic book-related. Why is it that everything comic book related has to always have those big fonts or a comic bubble in the mix. I know these are well-known symbols for comic books, but by now, aren't these clichés?

So when I was thinking about the logo I wanted for the Bin, I was thinking about colours and what would look hot on a T-Shirt and that people would remember. I was also thinking about how we usually consume our comic books - while resting in a rest room. But overall, I was also thinking about an evocative way to build something out of the word ComicBookBin. Believe me, I had tried before with all our other logos. This one is the only one that's satisfying to me. It's the only one  also have no shame wearing in public on a baseball hat or a T-Shirt.

It's also unique in the comic book world and memorable. Isn't that what a logo should be about?
