Will to Power
Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) a young, cocky test pilot is found by a dying 'Green Lantern', a member of an intergalactic peacekeeping force with great powers granted to them by a powerful ring. He is given the ring and inherits the mantel of 'Green Lantern' and thus becomes embroiled in an intergalactic battle.

''In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight

Let those who worship evil's might,

Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!''

I like this poster, it is playful and a little mysterious, in that it provides the viewer with several clues; the logo, the ring of energy pulsing at it's center, the semi-cryptic message with it's emphasis on the word 'Anyone'. It's a good start.

Following the successful template of previous superhero movies, the 'Green Lantern' casting team has assembled a blend of up and coming talent, such as  'Gossip Girls' Blake Lively (Pictured above) and established, more well known acting talent. This can only bode well. With less than a year to go before it's release, I look forward to seeing and hearing more about this movie.
