It’s the Birds of Prey versus Deathstroke as the mercenary must clean up after a failed mission by some low cast villains. The Birds are there and in Deathstroke’s way. Meanwhile, Batman confronts Oracle about the scheming of the Huntress. How will it all end?

The main purpose of this story is to serve as an apology story to improve Black Canary’s weak showing during the Identity Crisis mini-series from 2004. Simone does it right and shows that the Birds can kick Deathstroke’s butt. Well kind off. Still, it’s a great story where one can feel the inner turmoil of the character as they face a villain they know can kill them.

The fight sequence was well choreographed. Siqueira captured the tension in the characters and made each frame last about ten minutes, although in reality, the whole fight lasted seconds. This is exactly how the fight was from the story point of view. It really is good work.
