Chuck Dixon, the former Birds of Prey writer already established that Oracle was known by more than a small circle of heroes. In fact in the classic Hunt of the Huntress storyline, we saw that Oracle’s trace wasn’t always cleaned up totally. It comes as a surprise, that the Calculator would only now bother with Oracle. Didn’t he mention in Identity Crisis that she inspired him? How come he seems totally clueless about her? And why can’t any of the villains who used to be in the Suicide Squad just brief him. They all knew about Oracle. Why go through all this trouble?
Bennet’s art is not the most eye catching but he’s a strong artist who delivers strong settings and action in all his work. The guy should get a raise. If all artists put as much efforts as he did, comic books would be more fun to read.
