We received a rather interesting link from Ubisoft today, sending us to a flash-based website with the title ANIMUS and a short video showing off da Vinci-style invention drawings (including a censored version of his Vitruvian Man), some of which appeared to be updated versions of an assassination weapon.

Not much can be made of the site, considering it's just a teaser, aside from the fact that it is a teaser is for Assassin's Creed 2, which Ubisoft will be releasing later this year. What we did get from the site is that Assassin's Creed 2 may take place in a modern day or futuristic scenario, as it appears that the site was designed as a high tech, high security system, where information is only accessible via the site's image recognition software. Certainly worth a look. http://assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/.
