What version of Android Will ComicBookBin Work On?

One of my most important concern was to address the issue of Android fragmentation. Because I've been studying the issue closely for so long might explain why the ComicBookBin app for Android did not come out sooner.

Not all Android handsets are updated to the latest version of Android and performance takes a hit. If you're running a G1 HTC, chances are there's not many apps available. They could be running 1.5 (cupcake) or 1.6 (donut). Droid users only got the 2.1 upgrade (éclair) about a month ago. New devices coming out right now from HTC, Motorola and Samsung only run 2.1 right now.

Manufacturers have promised upgrades, but by the time a new upgrade is performed on an "older" handset, there,s already a new one out the door, like in the case of Android 2.2 (froyo) which was released as beta at about the same time many Droid users were only getting 2.1.

I think we solved the issue. ComicBookBin will be compatible with Android versions. The ComicBookBin app will work on 1.6 and anything above. I haven't tested it on 1.5, but it could work too. But to be safe, 1.6 and up. That means the majority of Android device owners will be able to download the ComicBookBin app when it's rolled out.
