Hot on the heels of leading a Republican contingent towards contention of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's aide Huma Abedin, asserting that the Muslim-American woman has ties to the extremist Islamic party the Muslim Brotherhood, Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota continued her inquest of Muslims, calling for an investigation of French-Algerian superhero, Nightrunner.

"Who leaked all of Bruce Wayne's information to the League of Shadows, anyway?" Bachmann asked. "It had to be the only Muslim character Batman associates himself with: Bilal Asselah, aka Nightrunner."

Nightrunner, a French-Algerian freerunner-turned-crimefighter, first appeared in Detective Comics (Vol. I) Annual #12. The character is linked to the French-Muslim rights movement.

"Nightrunner's ties to Islamic extremists run deep," Bachmann continued. "He was involved with Muslim protests in Paris. Paris rhymes with terr'ist."

When asked if she knew that Nightrunner was a fictional comic book character, Michele Bachmann said, "Fictional Muslims; nonfictional Muslims: who cares? The only good Muslim is a subpoenaed Muslim."

Wes Harris, the founder of Arizona's Original North Phoenix Tea Party and proponent of the Huma Abedin investigation, offered his take on the Nightrunner scandal, saying, "Have you read this Quran thing? It's full of stories about killing Gentiles for God and country, and they even believe the teachings of some guy that claims to be the word of God incarnate! This is dangerous stuff! We need missionaries out there, stat!"

When asked for his input, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney merely said, "America good. I make America better with things and stuff."
