Doc Seismic – who is that? – is back again trying to entice fear in the hearts of super heroes all over. First he attacks their super hideouts, and then he captures them. The only heroes left to stop him are Invincible and former girlfriend Atom Eve! Can they stop Doc Seismic in time?

The villain – Doc Seismic – reminded me of the old Mole Man from Marvel Comics, the Turtle from DC Comics and a host of stupid and diminutive past their prime villains that take themselves too seriously.

Although part of the issue was played for laughs, it progressed real fast into drama and higher stakes. This is quite entertaining and fun to watch how a writer can take his readers along for a ride so smoothly.

I will admit that I don’t like the colouring in this book which makes everything a bit too bright for me. However, I like the energy displayed in every pages and the raw innocence of the artist who makes us dream about Invincible and his gang. They don’t look bigger than life, but they look like their world and adventures are a blast!
