Actors bring The Intergalactic Nemesis to life in old-time radio style
In just over a month, The Intergalactic Nemesis will make its Broadway debut with two weeks of performances at the New Victory Theatre, playing a limited run April 5-13.

“It's hard to believe that just two years ago I was sweating the premiere of the first installment of this series at the Long Center,” said Jason Neulander, writer, director and producer of The Intergalactic Nemesis. “Just last week I booked our 101st tour engagement and it only seems to be growing.”

Touted as "a live-action graphic novel," The Intergalactic Nemesis is an old-style pulp adventure told in radio drama format. Panels from the comic book, written by Neulander with art by Tim Doyle, are projected on a two-story screen as actors voice the parts, accompanied by sound effects and music.

It features fortune-hunter Molly Sloan and her sidekick Timmy Mendez as they encounter the mysterious librarian Ben Wilcott and battle to save Earth from an invasion of sludge monsters from the planet Zygon.

Tickets for the Broadway show start at only $14 and can be purchased at www.newvictory.org/Show-Detail.aspx?ProductionId=4258 for ticketing information.

Until then, the old-time radio-style show will be playing venues in Colorado, the Chicago and Toronto areas, Madison WI and upstate New York.

Following the Broadway run, the show will tour venues including the Kennedy Center, Scotland, southern California and the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. For a complete tour schedule, click here.

In the meantime, the people behind Intergalactic Nemesis are making steady progress with their third adventure, entitled Twin Infinity. Books 1 and 2 (in radio drama format) are currently available on CD, with Book 3 is scheduled to be released later this spring.
