The post-modern Mightor meets the prehistoric Mi-tor! Elsewhere, Birdman, Space Ghost, the Herculoids, the Impossible, The Quest family and more are fighting the creature that wants to invade Earth with a solution on how to defeat it almost at hand. But will they be fast enough to stop the creature from swallowing Earth?

The problem that has been plaguing this series; that of an impending threat that does not seem to evolve much seems to be ending with a solution almost at hand. But it still feels like Jeff Parker is dragging this story as slowly as he can. We still get some team-ups between various heroes in this issue which is always a treat even though things are slow. The real treat of this issue was seeing the two Mightors meet and share some of their experiences!

While I still miss Evan Shaner’s rendition of these characters Ron Randall’s take is sufficient. He is probably better suited for action scenes than Shaner anyway. What he lacks is Shaner’s coyness with characters. Their smiles and gestures are not as genuine and they don’t feel as happy to be there, notwithstanding the crises and menaces that they face.

Colourist Veronica Gandini needs to understand that the palms of black characters are not brown. There is no melamine in human palms. They should be coloured appropriately. It is tiring to have to repeat this every review.
