Mightor and Birdman jump into the void created by the creature while the duplicity of Dr. Zin’s collaboration with Dr. Bannon has been revealed, leading to an arrest by F.E.A.R. Jonny and the other kids who were left behind are plotting a way to contribute to the effort against the dimensional creature. Meanwhile, Space Ghost is rescued by the Impossibles.

Jeff Parker has been dragging this story for several issues now. Although I enjoy the nostalgia, the characters, the themes, and the updates to contemporary times, the story has lost all momentum and issue after issue, we are presented to one group of character witnessing the threat that affects all of their collective universes. This is not a good thing. Perhaps having so many characters to juggle did not help.

Ariel Olivetti has experience drawing Space Ghost comics. However, his style is a bit jarring compared to what we’ve seen previously. He is an excellent painterly artist. It just feels out of place in a comic with pure retro art.
