Doctor Doom unleashes a new class of Doombot against the combined forces of Wakanda, the Black Panther, T’Challa, Storm of the X-Men and the Fanstastic Four. But everytime the vibranium enhanced Doombots fight an opponent they learn and share the information with the new generation of Doombots that will replace them. Can the heroes defeat Doctor Doom? This series is a sleeper hit that does not get much promotion from Marvel Comics but is worth the time. The only things I miss from this issue are the X-Men’s presence in this fight. I like how Doctor Doom seems invincible in this series and that he’s thought of everything before attacking Wakanda. He really makes the formidable minds of Reed Richards and T’Challa seem weak by comparison. Eaton continues to draw great action scenes. A lot of the story relied on his work to explain the extreme of the fight and the losses on the heroes’ side. I recommend this series for readers who care to read a good team up story set against impossible odds.
